Limousin is the heartland of France, a lovely unpopulated area of wide-open spaces. If you love the tranquil great outdoors and fresh air activities, this is the region for you.

The southwest corner of France is dominated by Midi-Pyrenees and Languedoc-Roussillon, regions so diverse and packed with historic places to visit that you could return every year and still only scratch the surface.

Finally, Provence and the Côte d'Azur is the sun-bathed southeastern tip of France, a place where art lovers and sun-worshippers flock to enjoy la belle vie under clear skies. From glitzy Riviera beaches to Provence's sleepy villages nestled among lavender fields, it is a truly gorgeous region.
