Maison Rose - The Villa
Originally a village house and adjoining barn, the medieval buildings was transformed into a luxurious villa and two apartments complete with a large pool and terraced gardens.
The building is typically provencal with terracotta floors and whitewashed walls. A two minute walk and you'll find the village square which has a bar/restaurant and the local shop.
Located in the listed medieval mountain village of Cipieres, it has stunning views over the Gorges du Loup. You're only half an hour from Grasse and 45 minutes from the coast and Nice Airport.
Cipieres is a wonderful base from which to explore the treasures of the area.
Originally a barn, the living room is spacious and has a high ceiling. French doors lead on to the terrace and pool area, which is bedecked with Oleander, Geranium and Roses.
The living room is overlooked by a well equipped gallery kitchen and dining area perfect for entertaining.
For alfresco dining there is an outdoor kitchen with BBQ and dining area. Sun loungers, parasols and the large heated pool enable guests to make the most of the Mediterranean climate.
The swimming pool measures a generous 12m x 6m and occupies a sheltered, south facing position, getting sun all day. It is usually heated from May through to October. The pool is maintained every day, ensuring it is kept clean.
The pool is shared between the three properties but we ask tenants from the apartments to use their own terraces for sunbathing, allowing everyone their privacy.
The English speaking caretaker is on hand to welcome you and make sure you enjoy your stay. He can provide you with home grown vegetables and order local produce from the nearby farm. Cipieres is renowned for its goats cheese and delicious honey!
