Domaine de Joreau offers a personalised service, combined with good comfort in an extraordinarily cosy environment.

The ancient washhouse of the Chateau de Joreau is exclusively reserved for the B&B guests. There is a large drawing room complete with an English, German and French library at your disposal. This leads out onto a private entrance and the garden.

The 3 bedrooms are under the high exposed roof beams, discreetly furnished with antiques and impeccable private shower and Toilets.

You can enjoy a homemade breakfast with relaxing views into the park.

The area:

Gennes is a charming village, on the border of the Loire and only 15 km (less than 10 miles) from Saumur and Doué-la-Fontaine and 30km (less than 20 miles) from Angers. Shopping facilities are less than 1km (0.5 miles) from the gîte and open 7 days a week.

Situated in the middle of the regional nature reserve "Loire- Anjou-Touraine", the house offers an ideal starting point for cultural, gastronomic and nature related expeditions for every age.

Hikers and cyclists will appreciate that the Domaine de Joreau is situated directly on the long distance path GR3 and the Loire Valley bike trail.
