Description
18th Century Farmhouse In Normandy-Manche
La Lande is a tastefully restored, French 18th century character farmhouse offering gites, as well as bed & breakfast accommodation for holiday rentals in Normandy.
We are set in a peaceful hamlet away from traffic, but within in a mile of the little medieval market town of Bricquebec, in the middle of the Manche Peninsula.
A twenty minute drive through the rolling countryside of France, from the port at Cherbourg brings you to our front door where a warm welcome awaits you.
We have two beautiful, spacious, 'gites', we also offer you top quality B & B for your Normandy vacation, in the gite bedrooms.
Accomodation:
This holiday cottage was newly finished for the 2008 season & is adjacent to the end of the main house with a huge, 120 square metres of light & bright space. Open plan downstairs with three sets of french doors, both front & back opening out onto our lovely gardens. Living / dining room with a fully equipped, light oak fitted kitchen. Two good sized double bedrooms & two bathrooms (one en-suite) upstairs. We have optional stair gates available to make it safer for toddlers & we also supply a highchair.
This is our three bedroomed holiday cottage, situated to the left of Kestrel. Exposed stone walls, oak beams & loads of character and plenty of space.
For both Gite, UK TV; DVD player; dishwasher; microwave; gas hob with electric fan oven; washing machine; power shower; stair gates; travel cot; high chair; oil fired central heating inclusive; barbeque, hairdryer.
Duvets, blankets, feather & synthetic pillows are all supplied. Linen & house towels can be supplied & the beds all made up for you.
Both of our gites & our B & B suite share ample parking, use of the gardens, an in-ground trampoline, swings & plenty of safe play for young children.
We also let the bedrooms in the gites as B & B rooms if they are not otherwise booked.
