French Travel News 2012 | New flights to the Loire
Flybe has announced details of a new French route that will be introduced this summer, providing access to Tours in central France.
This will open up the wonders of the Loire valley to visitors.
Commenting on the new launches, Andrew Strong, the carrier's managing director, said: 'Flybe is committed to developing our route network throughout the regions and to keeping business and leisure travellers moving during these... economically challenging times.'
Flights will operate on Wednesday and Saturday from May 16 2012, with the service running through until 8 September.
The timetable of flights is as follows:
Southampton to Tours
Wednesday, depart 10.15am, arrive 12.30pm
Saturday, depart 4.10pm, arrive 6.25pm
Tours to Southampton
Wednesday, depart 12.55pm, arrive 1.10pm
Saturday, depart 6.50pm, arrive 7.05pm
Tours is the largest city in the Centre region and sits on the lower reaches of the River Loire.
