French Travel News 2012 | New flights from Glasgow
Our Scots readers will be thrilled to learn that more French destinations will be available from Glasgow airport from 16th May and throughout the summer.
France Travel Services is set to offer flight-only and holiday packages to Nantes, Lyon and Paris the first time that the city has offered flight to the former two cities.
Glasgow Airport commercial director Francois Bourienne said the decision by France Travel Services - which is part of the Stewart Travel Group - would further strengthen the airport's route network.
He added: 'This is great news for Glasgow Airport and our customers and it clearly demonstrates that despite the current economic climate, there is still a strong demand for international travel.'
