French Travel News 2012 | High-flyers holiday in Berck - Pas de Calais
Combine a short break in Pas de Calais this spring with a fun kite-flying festival in the town of Berck-sur-Mer, it's the perfect opportunity to enjoy a French holiday by the sea and feel like a big kid at the same time!
The event, now in its 26th year, is Europe's biggest kite festival, and brings together talented string-pullers from all over the world, including China, Australia, America and Europe.
You will be able to admire the wacky, unbelievably intricate and huge designs, from flying fish to scary monsters, as well as enjoy a kite-flying lesson yourself.
The event takes place from 6th-17th April 2012.
