La Villa de Mazamet: Luxury Bed&Breakfast: 5 bedrooms
La Villa de Mazamet is a luxury bed & breakfast, located in the foothills of the stunning Montagne Noire (Black Mountains) in SW France.
Five beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms offer the highest standard of comfort – all have a king size or twin beds with fine linens and 5 star hotel quality mattresses.
Amenities include a flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod dock, wide range of teas & coffees, iron & ironing board, bathrobes & hair dryer.
The ensuite bathrooms are spacious with either a shower, bath with shower over, or a separate bath & shower. Egyptian cotton towels, amenities from the L’Occitane en Provence range and towel warmers.
Guests can enjoy two lounges, one with games and more than 150 DVD movies, the other for relaxing and reading a book or enjoying a pre-dinner drink.
Breakfast , served buffet style with a wide selection of cereals, pastries, breads, fruit & yoghurts, takes place in the restaurant where a pre-fix four course dinner is served each evening (apart from Wednesdays).
Dinner features freshly prepared dishes with the ingredients sourced from local markets, a choice of six regional & national cheeses, and a wine list featuring some of the best from SW France.
Outside, in La Villa’s private walled garden, guests may relax on the sun terrace, enjoy a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or find a shady corner to sit and enjoy a glass of local wine.
Mazamet is an ideal base to explore the department of the Tarn, set in the Midi-Pyrenees region, and in particular the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Albi (to the north) and Carcassonne (to the south) both 45 mins away. Vineyards, medieval villages, markets, mountains, lakes and so much more are within a short drive.
