4 Rue des Mariniers - The cottage dates back to the 18th century and is located in the medieval town of Puy l'eveque.
It was built in local stone and is full of character and rich in history. It lies just a few seconds walk on a stepped pathway leading from the tree-lined banks of the River Lot.
The cottage offers beautiful views over the river from the terrace and is ideal for relaxing and watching the sun go down.
Fully renovated in the traditional style, the cottage has kept its beautiful old features – exposed beams, stone walls, tiled and wooden floors and fireplace, but now also offers a fully equipped kitchen, central heating, and satellite TV with DVD. It sleeps four people comfortably and linen & towels can be rented if required.
Getting to Puy L'Eveque couldn't be easier – for those wishing to fly, Puy L'Eveque is only about one and a half hours drive from Toulouse and Bergerac, or just over two and a half hours from Bordeaux, Carcassonne and Limoges.
For those driving, Puy l'Eveque it is situated 40 minutes from the main A20 auto route and 35 minutes from central Cahors.
Once here, you have everything to hand in the village so even the car gets a rest!
In the Lot you are never far away from something to do –as the strap line says 'Le Lot – a surprise at every step'. And if sport or sitting outside one of the many cafes is not your thing, then perhaps a visit to one of the many interesting towns or villages, such as Cahors, Toulouse or Sarlat maybe just what's called for.
