B&B Mouriol:
Welcome to Mouriol Bed & Breakfast guest house, home of John and Sue Sidwell.
Mouriol is a tiny hamlet of just three houses and this Bed and Breakfast is situated in the heart of the Perigord Limousin National Park. It is near to St Mathieu in the Haute Vienne and close to the Dordogne and Charente borders.
Located less than an hour from the historic city of Limoges, the capital of the Limousin Region, famous for it's porcelain, yet within the peace and quiet of the Perigord Limousin National Park so we offer the ideal centre for your holiday.
The Limousin:
The area has much to offer the holiday maker from country walks to watersport activities, pictoresque villages to the city attractions of Limoges so whatever you're looking for this area of France has it. So why not visit and discover all that the Limousin has to offer whilst relaxing in the comfortable country surroundings of our bed and breakfast.
The Accomodation:
2 large bedrooms comfortably furnished in a style that combines the modern with the traditional. Each room is 6m x 6m including shower rooms and each has French windows leading on to the large shared balcony with views to the countryside beyond.
The en-suite shower rooms with WC are roomy and also are provided all the linen you would need including freshly ironed sheets, duvets, pillows, blankets and towels. Each room is centrally heated and has tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, heated towel rail, fan, table and chairs.
The large east facing balcony overlooks the small hamlet to the beautiful Limousin countryside beyond and you can take advantage of this as we provide each room with a bistro style table and chairs for use on the balcony.
The whole of our property is non smoking.
Guests can have their breakfast or evening meals on the terrace or under the large shady pergola in our garden. In season this is decorated with climbing plants, planters and hanging baskets and has a pond, stocked with goldfish and is home to a few frogs (sometimes noisy) and dragon flies. It is the ideal place to take aperitifs before an evening's excursions.
