Skiing chalet in the Pyrenees-Chalet Sylvie: Sleeps up to 10

New luxury spacious wooden chalet available to rent in the quiet picturesque village of Saint Pierre dels Forcats, in the Pyrénées Orientales

Accommodation consists of the main Chalet including a separate appartment sleeping up to 10 people, (12 with camp beds) + 2 babies

Fully equipped with all mod cons (dishwasher, oven, TV and DVD, fridge/freezer etc), beautifully furnished, large sunny balcony with stunning views over the nearby Cambre D’Aze, log fire, garage, private sauna (on request), shared indoor heated swimming pool (open during peak season) and private road.

Chalet usually sleeps up to 6, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with twin beds, 2 put you up beds available, 2 bathrooms, 1 with bath, 1 with shower, large open plan kitchen / dining / lounge with doors to balcony.

Apartment usually sleeps up to 4, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, kitchen / diner and lounge area with sofa bed, small outside decking.

There are 2 further cots and a high chair available.

Winter holidays: just a few minutes’ walk to the ski lifts

Perfect small resort for beginners and families with an ESF ski school and ski hire shops, 17 lifts and 45km of pistes on your doorstep; for the more advanced, there are also 7 other resorts in the near vicinity which all fall within the neiges catalanes lift pass offering over 220km of skiing of all standards.

The area also offers fantastic off-piste (longest off piste run in the French Pyrenees off the back of the resort, plus 4 couloirs – guiding available) and ski touring, as well as cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, thermal baths, toboggan runs and husky sledging. Ski hire and lift passes over 40% cheaper than most resorts in the Alps. Excellent snow record but also guaranteed snow (snow cannons)

Spring, summer and autumn activity holidays: mountain biking, altitude training, walking, horse riding, water sports (nearby lake) and natural hot springs, or family holidays, plus only 1hr 30 to the Mediterranean coast.

Low cost flights (Ryanair and Easyjet) to Perpignan (1hr 20), Girona (2 hrs), Beziers (2hrs 15), Barcelona (2hrs 30), and Toulouse (2hrs 50)
