Flexible family accommodation, very peaceful, 30 miles from the Mediterranean
Can Llouquette is an 18th Century fruit-farm in the most southerly valley in France, an area of outstanding natural beauty only thirty miles from the Mediterranean, very close to Spain and at the start of the Pyrenean mountain range.
We enjoy sunshine throughout the summer and winter, averaging over 300 days per year!
What makes Can LLouquette extra special is that it is set in its own little valley; is extremely private with no houses or roads in view or earshot and has acres of meadows, forest and stream for you to enjoy.
Yet the local bakery is only 3 mins away and market towns are only 15 mins away. Relax by the pool, stroll around the garden, down by the stream, or simply enjoy the wonderful peace and butterflies.
The Gîte (La Bergerie) and studio( le Pommier) comprise of three bedrooms (two doubles, one twin) each with a private bath and toilet, its own kitchen, lounge and terrace.
It is suitable for six people and two babies (we also have cots for two babies). There are two private terraces with an easterly aspect (towards Spain), equipped with garden furniture and perfect for enjoying outdoor meals or simply relaxing listening to the stream.
The Gîte and Studio are side by side and can be let individually or together. We have found that extended families love this set up, as it means intimacy and privacy with the ability to withdraw to one's own space when required.
It is a great place to leave the hustle and bustle behind to enjoy a quiet family holiday or a romantic getaway.
