Because white wine such as Chateauneuf or Condrieu are quite expensive and very unusual in their taste I think this straight Cotes du Rhone would be a good alternative to see if this style of wine suits your taste.
With a nice deep golden colour classic of this type of wine, the flavours are very harmonious with a blend of mature fruit flavours with a hint of wood.
This wine is just ready to drink and the balance between the wood and fruits are just perfect.

Guigal is one of the most renowned wine makers in the Rhone Valley and its Condrieu’s are in my opinion one of the best.
Made from 100% Viognier, the wines are usually quite powerful and aromatic. The first nose is rich with flavours of white flowers, apricot and vanilla however I think that this wine is not entirely ready to drink yet.
This is a fantastic example of the viognier grape but I would recommend decanting it an hour before serving.
