As Valentine's day is fast approaching the romantics among us may have already booked or be planning a weekend break with their loved one to make this day an even more special occasion.

Paris will of course come top of our list for its romantic ambiance, but which French city/town would you choose for the perfect romantic getaway. Is it Honfleur with its stunning port and brisk sea air; Nice and the assurance of a good weather and chic surroundings or maybe a log fire in a snowy ski resort in the Alps?
