Blog | French Menu and others translation into English

A few years ago whilst on holiday in the Basque country we settled down for dinner in a lovely restaurant in Saint Jean de Luz. We were grateful for the English translation of the menu but most perplexed by the presence of a dessert calling itself "Smede"! Luckily we also had the French menu to hand and were able to discover that it was in fact a simple "Mousse au Chocolat", not the hardest to translate, but very entertaining for us.
