Gite dans le Jardin: Sleeps 7 people

Gite dans le jardin is a small enterprise offering a self catering holiday rental gite with the luxury of a private pool, in the Lot et Garonne region in Aquitaine, South West France.

The Moirax gite sits in ten acres of rural country farmland and garden. This renovated farm house provides a peaceful and private haven where you can relax away from the stresses of everyday life.

Surrounding the cottage are extensive grounds bordered by our fields and a small stream. There is a private swimming pool and we have started a mixed fruit orchard, cut flower garden, potager, herb garden and a large vegetable patch.

The gite is spacious and comfortable and includes interesting original features such as oak beams, exposed stone walls and wooden floors. The house sleeps seven people plus an infant comfortably. A cot and high chair are provided for a baby. Shutters and thick stone walls allow you to regulate the temperature.

The main living room (4.3m x 7.7m) has a large wood burning fireplace, original wooden floors, DVD player, hifi, TV (receiving UK freeview) and a broadband wireless network. There are two large comfortable sofas, also a large trust library of DVDs, CDs, and books.

The rustic kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. On arrival you will receive a welcome hamper of local produce and wine to get to you started.

There are three bedrooms, two of which are arranged as doubles, one has an ensuite shower and toilet. The third bedroom is furnished with three single beds.
