La Porcherie Gite at Chauffour

La Porcherie is a lovely holiday cottage that can accommodate up to four people and is perfect for couples or a family with young children.

You enter La Porcherie through a conservatory, laid out as your dining area; this is a great place to enjoy the Dordogne sunshine. This leads into an open plan lounge and kitchen with wood burning stove ideal for long term lets and out of season breaks.   There is also a private garden and seating area.

Old oak stairs lead to a double bedroom with an adjoining smaller bedroom, suitable for 1 or 2 young children. There is an adjoining modern bathroom with a bath with shower over, toilet and bidet.

The kitchen area has a fridge/freezer with ice maker, large stove/oven and microwave.

All guests have access to the fenced 12m x 6m (39ft x 19ft) swimming pool, complete with safety ledge for less confident swimmers.

If you're feeling more energetic, there is table tennis, badminton or boules in the garden and bikes, tennis rackets, and golf clubs (1 set mens, 1 set ladies) are also available.   And, if you can pull yourself away from all of this you can explore the Perigord Vert, a beautiful region of the Dordogne and south west France.
