La ferme Gite at Chauffour
La Ferme is a beautiful self catering holiday cottage located in the Dordogne countryside in south west France.
The gite is set in large, mature gardens complete with swimming pool in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by sunflower fields and vineyards. Just a few minutes away are the villages of Allemans and St. Severin where you can find bakeries, banks, post office and a supermarket.
La Ferme is a fantastic 17th century farmhouse which offers versatile accommodation and can sleep up to 12 in comfort; perfect for groups, families with children or a couple of families sharing.
It is packed full of original features such as the beautiful oak staircase and a huge open fireplace.
On the ground floor we have a large kitchen, perfect for self catering, with dishwasher, fridge, microwave, double oven and hob. There is also a wonderfully spacious lounge and separate dining room with seating for up to 12. Both rooms have french doors leading onto the terrace.
There is also a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower.
On the first floor there are 3 fantastic double bedrooms, two of which can accommodate a cot or child bed, and a shower room with toilet - on the second floor there are two twin rooms ideal for the children with a further bathroom.
All of the guests have access to the fenced 12m x 6m (39ft x 19ft) swimming pool, complete with safety ledge for less confident swimmers.
If you're feeling more energetic, there is table tennis, badminton or boules in the garden and bikes, tennis rackets, and golf clubs (1 set mens, 1 set ladies) are also available. And, if you can pull yourself away from all of this you can explore the Perigord Vert, a beautiful region of the Dordogne and south west France.
For a really relaxing gite vacation we can offer Dinner on Arrival anytime during your stay and Pizza and Dining Club Events.
